Fields of activity and professional career

Based on relevant international experience at the interface between business, law and politics, in particular in France, North and West Africa, Sophie Greiner advises German and other European clients, as well as African clients together with the lawyers at our offices. Her advice covers a broad range of commercial law issues as well as, on a selective basis, inheritance and family law.

Admission

Sophie Greiner was admitted to the German Bar on 1 September 2022. 

Training

From 2013 to 2019 – with a one-year study visit to Nantes, France – Sophie Greiner studied law at the University of Passau. Parallel to her studies, she worked her way into German foreigner law and was an active member of the university’s student legal aid association. In 2019, she completed her law studies with the 1st State Law examination. From 2020 to 2022, she completed her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich and graduated with the 2nd State Law Examination in 2022. 

Language skills and cultural sensitivity are indispensable for cross-border legal work. Sophie Greiner specifically trained both skills parallel to her legal education. She was brought up bilingually with French and German and in the course of her education spent some time in France, Italy, Ireland, Spain, as well as in the North and West African states of Morocco, Togo, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire.

Languages

Sophie Greiner is a native speaker of German and French. She also speaks English and Italian and has basic knowledge of Wolof and Ewe, the national languages of Senegal and Togo.
