Fields of activity and professional career

Hazem Abid has been working as a lawyer in Tunisia since 2002. In 2014, he founded the law firm Justitia Avocatie & Conseil together with other colleagues. He mainly intervenes in international and national commercial law matters and is also active in general civil law, family law and public law. In addition, as a certified mediator, he advises companies on out-of-court conflict resolution. Thanks to his German language skills and experience as an investment advisor of several German companies, Hazem Abid is particularly well connected in German-speaking countries.

Admission

Hazem Abid was admitted to the Tunisian Bar in 2002.

Education

Hazem Abid studied law at the Université des Sciences Juridiques & Politiques de Tunis from 1995 to 2002. After his admission to the bar, he took part in various further training courses, for example in the areas of international law in transport & logistics and international arbitration. Due to his profound knowledge of German and regular stays in Germany, Hazem Abid also worked for several years as an investment advisor for several German companies in parallel to his legal practice. Since 2020, Hazem Abid is a trained mediator of the Institut Catholique de Paris.

Languages

Hazem Abid speaks Arabic and French as his mother tongue and is business fluent in German and English.
