Abdo is an attorney whose practice encompasses commercial work and specializes in corporate and commercial law, commercial agencies, international business law, labor law, environmental law, intellectual property and patent, media law, real estate law and NGOs.

Throughout his career Abdo represented and worked closely with local and international entities and businesses involved in trade, import and export, wholesale and direct sale, services and activities such as companies, business structures, governmental bodies and entities working and dealing in Lebanon, the Arab countries throughout the MENA region, Turkey, China, the United States of America, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Germany and other European countries, transacting with communication networks products and services; film & music production and distribution; advertising and media; news agencies; environmental industry and engineering; distribution of goods such as industrial machineries, equipment, steel, vehicles; production and distribution of foodstuff; manufacturing and distribution of clothes and garments; fashion and haute couture; architecture, interior design and designers products; contracting and construction; real estate; micro finance; F&B businesses and hospitality services; startups and websites/mobile applications developing and management.

Abdo started practicing as a trainee at one of Beirut renowned law firms, where he provided legal assistance for local and international non-governmental organizations and assisted foreign and local clients in incorporation of companies and following up on their formalities; then Abdo joined one of the most prominent media law and intellectual property law firms in Beirut where he provided legal assistance in media law, terrestrial and satellite broadcasting and television production for a leading television station in the Arab world and represented local and international clients in civil, labour, criminal, property and commercial cases before the Lebanese courts. Abdo joined afterwards a prominent insurance law firm in Beirut, where he was in charge for drafting and reviewing contracts for a major insurance company in the region and representation in civil proceedings before Lebanese courts. In 2000 he founded Abi Najem Law Office where he acted as legal consultant for many renowned local and international companies and NGOs, representing clients in litigations either as defendants or as plaintiffs, handling contracts negotiations with local and international companies as well as with governmental authorities, preparing legal researches and studies for different local and foreign entities, drafting and reviewing several types of agreements, assisting clients in establishing companies in Lebanon and abroad, assisting clients in setting up non-governmental organizations, handling trademark and patent registrations as well as studies and handling cases related to IP regulations.
